Welcome to the Astronomical Dungeons: The Abyss of the Block Dimension System
Welcome to the Astronomical Dungeons: The Abyss of the Block Dimension System
Hello to everyone who has cleared the "Forest of Beginnings" and gotten used to dungeon crawling! Today, we're opening the door to the very heart of "Yu-Roguelike": the Block Dimension System.
For any adventurer who has journeyed through the online game 'The World,' this should make your heart race. Yes, this is just like the "Area Word System" that created unknown areas by weaving together three words... but this Block Dimension lets you experience that same excitement on a much grander scale.

This is the Chaos Gate that connects to infinite worlds.
What is the Block Dimension? A World Creation System That Is Practically "Infinite"
The Block Dimension System isn't just about selecting a dungeon. It's a magical system where you, the player, become a creator of worlds, combining fragments of words called "Blocks" to automatically generate your very own dungeons.
The scale of this might just boggle your mind.
- The "Dimensions," which form the foundation of the world, range from A (Lv1+) to Z (Lv2601+), for a total of 26 tiers.
- The "Blocks," which act as Area Words, consist of 818 types for the 1st, 797 types for the 2nd, and 797 types for the 3rd... more than 2,400 word fragments in total.
- And the "blueprints" for dungeons born from these combinations, the generation algorithm patterns, number a staggering 456 types!
26 × 818 × 797 × 797…
It's an astronomical number of combinations that's almost silly to even calculate. This goes far beyond units like "billions" or "trillions"—it is, for all intents and purposes, "infinite." The dungeon you are about to step into is likely a completely unique world that no one else has ever seen.
※For reference, in .hack//G.U. Vol.3, the number of Area Words was 114 for the 1st, 91 for the 2nd, and 131 for the 3rd. There were only three servers: Δ (Lv1~), Θ (Lv51~), and Σ (Lv101~150). Additionally, there were 10 field generation types (Grassland with variations for day, cloudy, dusk, night, rain; and Wilderness with the same variations) and 4 dungeon types (Cave, Shrine, Forest, Corridor), for a total of 14 types.
※In Yu-Roguelike, generation types are incredibly diverse, ranging from simple fields to caves, forests, natural landscapes, Skyrim-style, fantasy, sci-fi, modern, Egyptian, Arabian, Chinese, ruins, archaeological, chaotic, and abstract themes.
How to Use the Block Dimension: 3 Steps to Opening the Gate
It's surprisingly simple to use. Trust your intuition, just like when choosing Area Words.
Step 1: Switch to the "Block Dimension" Tab
First, click on the "Block Dimension" tab at the top of the dungeon selection screen.
Step 2: Weave Your Three Blocks
From the lists on the screen, choose the Blocks that will become the Area Words for your adventure. Select a Dimension, then combine the three Blocks... and just like that, the world's blueprint is complete.
Step 3: Open the Gate!
Once you've chosen your Blocks, a card with "predicted dungeon information" will instantly appear on the right. After checking the recommended level and dungeon type, press the "Open Gate" button and set off into a world no one has ever seen before!

The Blocks you choose will reveal a completely different face of the world.
How to Enjoy the Block Dimension: Create Your Own Epic Tale
The true joy of this system lies in the process of finding your own legend from among the countless combinations.
Enjoy Encounters with the Unknown Using Random Functions!
How do you choose your stage from this astronomical number of combinations? Don't worry. Just like checking a message board in a Root Town, the system will recommend the perfect area for you.

These buttons will open the door to your new adventure.
- "Random Selection": For an unpredictable adventure! This will choose all Blocks completely at random, inviting you to a once-in-a-lifetime world.
- "Weighted Random": For when you have a specific request like "a dungeon that matches my level" or "a maze-type dungeon," the system will intelligently suggest Area Word candidates that fit your mood or goal.
Bookmark Your Favorite "Area Words"
In your adventures, you may encounter special terrain, enemy layouts perfect for farming, or beautiful landscapes. When you find such a miraculous combination, be sure to hit "Add to Bookmarks"! This is just like jotting down the Area Words of a location where you found a rare item. Create your own list of secret spots!
For Those Who Aim Higher: The "NESTED" System
Even with the same Area Words, you can increase the "NESTED" value to dive deeper into the dimension and challenge a higher-difficulty world. The enemies will be significantly stronger, but an unknown adventure, one that even you as the creator have yet to see, may be waiting.

This is the abyss of NESTED 99999999...
Conclusion: From Exploration to "Creation"
The Block Dimension System elevates the gameplay experience from simply "exploring" dungeons to "creating" them.
So, why not combine your very own "Area Words," open a gate to a dungeon no one has ever seen, and start weaving your own epic tale?
Happy adventuring!
